Welcome to Community Neuropsychology

Welcome to Community Neuro-psychology

A Note From Dr. Geiger

Welcome! It is challenging to cope with cognitive difficulties, especially when there are unanswered questions about the exact nature of the cognitive problem, its cause, or its course. At Community Neuropsychology, we help provide diagnostic clarity, treatment recommendations, and compensatory strategies for cognitive problems.

Cognitive problems can exist in a variety of neurologic, psychiatric and developmental conditions, so we see patients with a wide range of diagnoses including by not limited to:

  • Traumatic brain injury
  • Dementia
  • Movement disorders
  • Epilepsy
  • Brain tumor
  • Lupus
  • Multiple Sclerosis
  • Genetic conditions
  • Stroke

Sometimes depression and anxiety co-occur with the above conditions, and often can exacerbate cognitive problems. If that is happening we will also develop recommendations to treat the co-occuring psychiatric illness.

No matter what the cause of the cognitive problem, every evaluation at Community Neuropsychology is designed to be a compassionate, individualized experience. Community Neuropsychology honors all individuals and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, gender or gender expression, age, ancestry, disability, or sexual orientation. We are committed to providing an inclusive and welcoming environment for all people.

Feel free to call the clinic with questions.

Sincerely,

Jennifer A. Geiger, Ph.D., ABPP-CN
